If you ride to work, just walk to the next bus stop so that you do some more walking in the day. You’ll see it really is no big deal to add more walking to your daily workout plan.

Walking is one of the least complicated and best things you can do to become healthier. It’s simply because walking is one of the best aerobic workouts. This means it’s not only good for your heart, but you’ll get rid of extra pounds too. You shouldn’t worry about overworking your joints or muscles like when running, because you can go as slowly as you must. Before you know it, you’ll be looking forward to your frequent walks and planning on walking even more. Why shouldn’t you, if you think you can do a lot more? Once you get to the point where you’re walking at a very good pace and feel ready, step it up by jogging. After that, only the sky’s your limit.
