Yuvan got married to Shilpa, daughter of Australian based businessman Mohan & Mythili couple. Yuvan Shankar Raja, one of the best musicians in Kollywood, tied the nuptial knot with Shilpa, a doctor by profession, in a private ceremony attended only by family members, at Tirupathy Temple, on Sep 1st, 2011. The girl Shilpa is a doctor and don’t have any association with the industry and Yuvan has fallen head over heels in love with her after meeting her.
Marriage held on Sept 1st at around 9.00 am in Thirumala Thirupati. Ceremony was attended by Ilayaraja and his wife Jeeva, Pavatharani, Sabari, Gangai Amaran, Producers Thiyagarajan, Vishnu Vardhan, Anu Vardhan, Venkat Prabhu, Premji, Subbu, Krishna, Vasuki, Karthik Raja and his wife Raji, & Others. The wedding was attended by Yuvan’s father Maestro Ilayaraja, mother, elder brother Karthik Raja,sister Bhavatharini and close family relatives.
Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja married Shilpa, a B.Pharm graduate from University of Adelaide, Australia, at Tirupati amidst close family and friends on September 1, 2011. Remember, Yuvan’s first marriage with Sujaya ended in divorce in 2008 and the promising music director now found Shilpa as his life partner.
