Scriptural Truths Leads To Happiness in Life
Scriptural truths are the rarest gems which bestow upon us wisdom to lead a happy life. They act as guiding stars in our lives and help us become true children of God. For centuries the truth of scriptures has guided mankind to happiness and contentment. These Biblical truths have stood the test of time for centuries and still continue to do so. Modernism took us away from these truths and hence pain, sorrow and suffering have increased the world over. Take a deep breathe, and ask yourself are you happier than your forefathers? We have so much more than our predecessors but why is happiness eluding us? The truth is we have deviated from the ‘truth’ of the Holy Bible.
We have been constantly trying to amass wealth in our lives but we have completely ignored amassing happiness. True values of life such as love, friendship, brotherhood seems to be eluding us while greed, mercilessness becoming our best companion. We always think about what we don’t possess rather than enjoy what we have. No wonder drug abuse, broken families and susceptibility to illness has increased. This answer to this lies in Hebrew 13:5 where God says “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, never will I leave you; never will I forsake you”. Similarly Luke 12:15 says “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
Scriptural truths provide us with hope of a better dawn in times of hardship. Mankind has overcome the best of adversities by taking inspiration from the Holy Bible as God always stood by the side of his believers in times of need. According to John 14:5-14:7 Thomas asked, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” and Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Christ is able to save what he wants and what he wishes to save. We need to pray and ask him to enter our lives.
The Holy Bible has shown many the roads to salvation and so will you benefit from it if you live your life according to the truth of scriptures which has guided them in times of need. Psalm 105:2-3 says “Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. People who worship Jesus Christ and sing praises for him are relieved of the worldly stresses and tensions as they can conquer upon all the negativity that surrounds their lives and rejoice it just the way God has scripted the life for all his followers.
