Everyone who rock climbs should know how to store rock climbing equipment. Proper storage will ensure that your equipment lasts as long as possible. Rock climbing equipment is expensive and so you want to protect your investment. Not only that but if you don’t store it correctly, it could become damaged and unsafe; and that’ the last thing you want to happen to your rock climbing equipment. If you’ve been going to a rock climbing studio, it’s likely the instructors have given you some instruction on how to store rock climbing equipment. However, if you’ve never seen how it’s done or never really thought about it, the good news is that it’s not very difficult. It just take some focus and attention to what you’re doing and it takes a little know how in order to learn how to store rock climbing equipment.
Where

Not only will this keep your rope from wearing too quickly, it will also make it easier for you to unravel it the next time you want to go climbing. If you don’t store your rope properly, it can get tangled and this can wear it quickly. That’s not to mention the time it’s going to take to get the rope straight again the next time you’re ready to climb.
