Three RPG Franchises Not to Overlook
This past 10 years has brought lots of adjustments towards the RPG (Role Playing Game) genre. Both gaming PCs and stand alone video game consoles have taken on many striking advancements including faster CPU speeds, greater graphic capabilities and smooth online gameplay opportunities.

Newer installments have focused to expand consumer opportunity by releasing variants for popular systems including the PS3 and Xbox 360. All game titles in the Fallout franchise share a post-apocalyptic viewpoint on the in-game characters and atmosphere. The latest addition in the hit console/PC RPG series, Fallout: New Vegas was published in mid-fall 2010 and has been given extremely optimistic reviews from players and writers alike.
The final series, and possibly the most worthy of its existence in my list, is the Diablo franchise. Around the same age as the Fallout franchise, the pioneer Diablo game was launched back in early 1997 for the Mac, PC and PlayStation platforms. Diablo, which has stayed within the Blizzard brand throughout its whole lifetime, is without a doubt one of the definitive dungeon crawlers ever, alongside classic game titles such as Dungeons and Dragons. With 18 million game titles sold around the world over the whole series, Diablo remains one of the most popular RPG PC games of them all. Fanatics of the series grow restless while they faithfully await the official launch date for the newest verified title within the series, Diablo 3.
