RFL Dipped Fabrics – Chafer Fabric, Liner Fabric, Belting Fabrics, Diaphragm, Impression & Float Fabrics

Technical Fabrics

Technical fabrics are the fabrics used for the products in which function factor is more important than aesthetic looks. Technical fabrics include fabrics for automotive applications like tyres, conveyor belts etc. The technical fabrics also known as industrial fabrics highly used in rubber products industry. The nylon and polyester based heavy industrial fabrics are used for the tyre and rubber industry. The importance of technical fabrics is increasing due to the increasing market of automobiles as the major part of technical fabrics is used in tyres industry. The technical fabrics are also used in conveyor belts. The industrial fabrics are generally made up of wovens, non wovens and knitted type of fabrics. RFL dipped fabric is one of the best technical fabrics and is the backbone of high quality rubber products like tyres, conveyor belts, diaphragms, floats etc. The RFL dipped fabrics, nylon and activated polyester fabrics are used for the tyre and rubber industry.

Chafer Fabric

Chafer fabric is a fabric coated with vulcanized rubber which adds an advanced dimensional stability, high adhesion to rubber and flexibility as it is wrapped around the bead wire section of a tyre. It maintains an abrasion-resistant layer of rubber in contact with the wheel on which the tyre is mounted. The nylon dipped chafer fabric is mainly applied in tyre rims and is the auxiliary material for rubber tyres. The chafer fabric is suitable for bias tyres, aircraft tyres, radial tyres and engineering equipment tyres as it has the qualities of high tension and adhesion.

Liner Fabric

Liner fabrics are woven polypropylene multi and woven polypropylene mono used in the Rubber Valcunising industry as well as Polyester Leader liners for RFL Dipping plants in width up to 180cm. The types of liner fabric available are heat set nylon, polyester, P.P. multi fabric and P.P. mono fabric used in Industrial textiles production.

Belting Fabric

The belting fabrics are designed to meet the most demanding applications and are woven out of Nylon 6, Nylon 66, as well as EP poly as well as EP nylon dipped widths upto 180 cms. The range of belting fabric includes dipped nylon fabric, dipped polyester fabric and dipped EP fabric.
