Description of the certifications
The IBM rational certifications involve a number of realms of certifications that make it a diversely spread certification course. The realms involved in the IBM rational certifications include the certifications related to the architecture management(this includes certifications related to advanced application developer, associate developer, solution designer and deployment professional), the certification related to the change and release management, enterprise architecture, certifications related to the modernization of the enterprise, certifications related to the management of process and the portfolio, quality management certifications and also the certifications related to the automation of software delivery. There are three levels of certifications associated with the IBM rational certifications. The entry level is termed as IBM certified associate.
This entry level is comprised of certifications for BPM analyst, administrator, developer, associate developer, database associate, operator and solution advisor. The second level certification is the intermediate level certifications. These certifications include the certified database administrator, solution designer, integration developer, support professional, system administrator and business process analyst. The last level and the most complex level certification include the advanced level certifications and they include the certifications for supplication developer, database administrator, security professional and technical expert.
The IBM rational certifications that have these three levels are obtained by candidates working in different fields of work having different job profiles. Thus, the experience required for obtaining the certifications and the job profile and job roles and responsibilities also differ from individual to individual.
