What Is A Desiccant Dehumidifier?

A desiccant dehumidifier is different from standard models of dehumidifiers because of the method they use to pull humidity from the air and the amount that they can pull. The EPA recommended amount of air humidity is 30 percent to 50 percent, as levels that are lower or higher can cause respiratory problems in some people. Desiccant styles of dehumidifiers are best used at relatively low humidity levels to get the best results.
