You can either validate your Windows 7 OS through technical support or try it on your own. You can easily get this thing done by yourself after following a few simple steps. First you need to look for is the product key which you will find it in the Home Windows package or in your email. You can activate Windows 7 either through direct connection or by using a modem.
You can activate it through a direct connection by first clicking on the start button and then click on My Computer and then Properties. After this step you will get the option to activate Home Windows and when it detects a web connection you will be prompted to enter Administrator password after which it will as for the product key. After this you will be asked for the Administrator password and after you enter it, you need to select the location and click on the Next button and keep on doing it till it shows Finish. Once you are done the OS get activated from the clients end.
