Different Point of View For Our Modern Communications
Have you ever thought about the methods that we use to call to another country. What costs us just a second is actually possible because of the knowledge and the work that has been done for hundred years. During all that time, the human kind was developing new methods for communication, we were improving our mathematics skills and many more. So, when the 20th century came, all that knowledge was combined and we witnessed the fastest and most powerful development ever seen. All this is because of the new technologies and especially one of them – the computer. This is what made the difference and it was the main reason for the vast improvement.
So, maybe we do not exactly realise all that, and we do not need actually, when we call Canada or any other place in the world. However, all that furious moving forward can cause some troubles such as space junk for example.
What is space junk and why we have to know about it?
These are all the parts that fall from rockets and space shuttles during their launches and their stay in the space. Well, this is not something important and it is completely safe for all of us who are on the ground. So, if that is the case, why should we care?
Because we use the satellites every day. We rely on them at each moment when we need to call someone. So, if these junks hit one of the satellites they can damage it and make it useless. On top of that the chances for that to happen become bigger and bigger with the launch of each new rocket.
Today, after only a half a century in the space, we have filled the whole space around our planet with junks and there is almost no free areas for the new satellites.
So, next time when you make cheap calls to Canada or any other country, think about all the technology that is involved and all the benefits of this.
