Army accounts are around for users who might possibly have an up to date entry while in the Army Personnel system. These entries correspond to this account types:
Active Army, Army Retired, Army Reserve, Individual Ready Reserve, National Guard, DA Civilian, DA Civilian Retired, NAF Civilian, U.S. Military Academy Cadets, ROTC Cadets (MS III and IV), Future Soldiers, Dual Accounts
If your user corresponds to two categories – for illustration, Army Retired and DA Civilian – this user will receive dual-account status provided both records show up in the Army Personnel database.
The right way to Register
To join up to for a full AKO account:
. Go to akologin.net

. Enter an outside email (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc.) and then click ‘Next’ (If the portal locates your information within the military/personnel database, different fields will autofill and that may customise the order of this following steps).
. Enter the details for use on your organization and click ‘Next’
. Enter your password strength of this choosing into both password fields (Your password must follow the guidelines listed on top of the registration page).
. Choose 3 security questions, provide answers and then click ‘Complete Registration’ (Your security questions are essential. Validate Identity
To validate their identity, new users creating Army accounts must present three round the information: Ss #, birth date, and pay entry base date (PEBD).
