Methods of Keeping a Bag Well
We know there are plenty of beautiful bags in the market such as handbag, shoulder bag, satchel, and hobo. It is always a good investment to buy one of them. Each of them is excellent for carrying. I have some nice bags. They are well kept by me. Some of them still look like new after one or two years’ carrying. The followings are my methods.
As most of my handbags are made of leather, I buy a cleanser for cleaning. It can be bought from many stores. Usually a handbag store sells it. I clean the leather bags once a week with the cleanser. After cleaning they look great.
I never put my bags where there is much sunlight. Such a place will make them lose their colors. And I won’t put them in a wet place as they will be damaged if it is too wet.
And I don’t put many heavy things in my bags such as heavy books. On one hand, it is hard for me to carry them; on the other hand, this behavior will damage them. Besides, bottles that contain fruit juices and water won’t be put inside.
After using them for some time, I clean out all the things inside them. I think this is necessary because I want everything well-organized in it. And it is good to throw away some wastes from them. I like to clean them from inside to outside.
When a bag is not carried by me, I always hang it well and cover it with papers or cloth to keep it clean.
In fact, to keep a handbag well is not difficult as long as you are willing to do it. There are many methods provided by experienced people online. I learnt these methods from them too. And they are really useful. All of my bags are kept nicely.
