Kitchen prices vary along with quality

I consider my kitchen to be my house’s best asset. It is larger than most people’s living rooms. In total, it is forty square meters. I am going to price up a new kitchen and am aware the kitchen I choose could raise the value of the property considerably. I have to ensure I utilize the large space to its full potential. I have some graph paper, I and have made each square to represent one centimeter. As I know the standard sizes of the shelf kitchen units it is easy for me to plan the kitchen on paper.
The best kitchen price could be the hardest part of the project. Since the age of consumerism, the choice for the buyer is exhaustive. In my small town alone there is in excess of six or seven kitchen outlets. So how to get the best price without compromising on quality is a hard task in deed. What I need to do is write a list of must haves. I will choose a kitchen for its quality, availability, style and affordability. I would like to have free fitting, however if this was not available it would not be the end of the world.
I have been looking at the quality of bathrooms for some time, I have noticed a trend of some units and worktops are not as thick as normal, maybe this is how they cut the price. The normal measurement of wood used to make an off the shelf kitchen unit is just over one centimeter. The extra couple of millimeters is the Formica covering, but the chip wood underneath is exactly one centimeter. Some kitchens I have looked at are made of much thinner wood, as little as three quarters of a centimeter. This is a quality issue for me, as the kitchen would not stand up to family life and the demands that would be thrown at it.
My kitchen has to be quite special due to the size of the space it has to occupy. I have decided on a big island in the center. This will be a fully functional area, with electric, water and preparation areas, along with a stainless steel sink unit. The surrounding cupboards will support this whilst offering integral units such as a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. One feature I would like on the door and draw fronts is no handles. I have seen a kitchen that you simply push the door or draw, and they pop open. This gives the kitchen a special look that I want.
So now, it is down to finding a good kitchen price, without compromising the quality. I have a detailed plan, I know how many top and bottom units I need along with quite specific work top requirements. I am sure if I persevere, I will find the right kitchen at the best price.
