a good north face winter jacket shouldn be more than 150 dollars

Packability is second to none. Some vests can get really tiny if you cheap north face jackets sit down and carefully fold the thing, but when wadded up in a fist they take up quite a bit of room. The Aero vest scrunches up tiny and stuffs easily in a pocket.

Speaking of pockets, the P.R.O. Aero vest doesn’t have any. That’s my only problem with it. But I’m always wearing something with pockets underneath, so it’s not really a big deal.

The scoop: super light, super packable, stretchy fabric eliminates flapping, excellent race-cut tailoring.
If you, like me, have a “racer build” and hate flappy clothing, the P.R.O Aero vest is worth every shiny penny. It uses a stretchy material and race-cut fit to drastically reduce flaps and folds. Even the collar is tapered to fit the neck better when in an aggressive position.

Amazingly, that stretchy fabric still provides entirely excellent wind and water protection. This isn’t a thermal vest: it’s just one thin layer, but for keeping wind out that’s all you need. It easily adds 10˚ to any garment setup. I add it to thick thermal gear to provide womens north face jackets sale some wind protection, or to a jersey and shorts to make an early fall descent a bit more comfortable.
Never ceases to amaze me that people still think they need to spend 110 on a winter vest.

It’s a vest. Good fleece tights, and a good winter jacket shouldn’t be more than 150 dollars. Ski gloves work well, and if its really cold, bar mitts seem to be the trick. I still haven’t found a way to keep my feet super warm on the coldest days, so that seems to be the place to spend money for me at least
Don’t let the refrain “We hardly experience winter in Hyderabad. You can make do with a shawl …” dampen your enthusiasm. Agreed that winter nights in Hyderabad aren’t as chilly as in Delhi and we don’t need fur to ward off the chill, but if you are attending an open-air concert or a play in the outskirts of the city on a nippy evening, you can make do with some warm clothing. You can either hide under an oversized jacket or an outdated sweater or step out in style with some planning.
