According to the researchers of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, the use of doxorubicin is related to the occurrence of heart damage which is irreversible after stopping the treatment. The researchers said that for the last fifteen years scientists were working to invent a treatment for the protection of the heart from the destructive side effects of doxorubicin. Now, it is discovered that molecules production can be increased when Vagra combines with doxorubicin. Increased molecules production is known as reactive oxygen species and this will activate the destruction of cancer cells but will not harm the prostate cells that are healthy.
Vigra that was used in mice for the research increased the nitric oxide levels of the heart.
