What are Fixed Odd Options?

Before learning about fixed odd options, you must have the basic knowledge of binary options and their working. After you understand the basics of binaries, you will find it easy to understand their working and what they mean in the trading world. In binary options, you don’t have to buy any asset but you are supposed to estimate in which direction the price of the option will move over a fixed period of time.
In binary options, the profit from the option is fixed between the buyer and the seller before the option starts. Once the trade has started, any happening in the market can not affect the profit of the option with the condition that option should end ‘in the money’ before it gets expired. Because the profit of the option is fixed, these options are also known as ‘fixed odd options’.
The term ‘binary’ means ‘0’ or ‘one’ and binary options trading also work on these terms. If your option is successful, you get the full payment but if the option fails, all your invested money goes down the drain. There is not any middle path for the investor in binary options trading. This feature of binary options gives the investor a chance to preplan his option and if the option does not go the way he had thought, he has the choice to hedge his option to minimize the loss. The loss of the option is only the invested money and the best point of binaries is that they do not require very big amount to start.
