Toilet Paper Room Divider: Why Not?

Around the world bathrooms are mainly functional spaces that are ready to serve their crucial, yet unglamorous purpose. It doesn’t really matter your location: whether a hole in the ground, a futuristic outpost or a lavish boudoir, the lavatories remain overseen by their home owners when it comes to interior design. In this article I will explain how to decorate your toilet with toilet paper and make it look good.

The one and only exception to the rule is the British downstairs loo. “Here anything goes, except the lack of decoration”, claim painters & decorators. Most people would hang pictures from their past and present (some even go a step further by including nudes). Other prefer art like erotic Victorian postcards. As it would seem no decoration scheme is too strange for those funny little family temples.

The toilet paper room divider is a clever way to add a cool wall in your lavatory without actually building one. Furthermore, it serves a double function as you will not only decorate your bathroom, but you will also never, ever have to wait for someone to bring you a new roll of toilet paper (you just have stored a months worth of supply right next to the toilet).

This design is not only clever and will win you some points for your sense of humour, it is also easy to do yourself. All you need are some wooden shelves or a whole bookcase which carpenters London will be more than happy to assemble for you. Set them up in the lavatory and you can start arranging the toilet paper on them.

A useful tip: you could buy different types of paper and even create decoration patterns on the stand. If you are feeling particularly creative, you should get colours that match the tiles in the loo. In case you don’t feel comfortable displaying only toilet paper, you could place some candles or framed pictures in between – British style.

I hope you have fun decorating your lavatory. I certainly did, especially due to the amazing toilet paper room divider that I arranged in mine. In my opinion, it’s a far more desirable display than placing nude pictures of myself or my partner – certainly less disturbing.
