At PrintCartridge.ie we like to protect the environment as much as we can. Did you know that an empty printer cartridge contains plastics and metals that can take up to 1000 years to breakdown? In order to significantly reduce the volume of cartridges going into landfill, we have now teamed up with a number of local schools and groups to launch our recycling campaign. We feel it’s really important for children to learn new ways to help clean up the earth. Our campaign is a fantastic way of demonstrating this to the children as well as giving them a sense of enterprise, as we also donate the funds raised straight back to the school/group.
It couldn’t be easier. We supply a letter to the parents, which we request to be sent home with students twice per term. This letter will be accompanied by a recycling envelope. Once your printer cartridges are empty, place them in this recycling envelope and your child can drop them into the recycling bins provided in their school/group. We will collect the bins at regular intervals and pay a fee for each cartridge collected. So, the more cartridges you recycle, the more funds you raise!
