Audi Q3 to take over BMW X1
Audi and BMW are both well-known luxury car brands and a tough competition to each other. Audi is on the verge of rolling out its lavish SUV, Audi Q3, which would battle it out the present BMW X1. There are so many features, which make Audi Q3 better than BMW X1, but the price tag of Q3 is higher than that of BMW X1.
Not like BMW X1, the new Audi Q3 sports Quattro all wheel drive system, that obviously gives the SUV an edge over front wheel drive like BMW X1. Q3 also has spacious and much roomier interiors, which provides plenty of legroom and head room. The central tunnel in Q3 isn’t that high and it could easily adjust 5 adults. The storage space is impressive inside and the overall finish and built quality of Audi Q3 is way better than BMW X1. But, the door handles quality is not up to the standard of Audi.
Talking about the advanced gadgets in Audi Q3, it quite all-inclusive both on the outside and inside. The base version of Audi Q3 will feature halogen headlamps in place of xenon ones, whereas the top end trim will get aluminum brushed roof rails and the standard version will have matt black ones. Another plus point of Audi Q3 is its MMI system that has been carefully position on the central console making it easier to use.
Coming to the engine, Audi Q3 features 2.0 litre of diesel engine that churns out 177 BHP of peak power, which is less than BMW X1 that produces 184 BHP of maximum power. The transmission in Audi Q3 is also much like rubber band and not as smooth and slick as in BMW X1. BMW X1 here steals the show with its engine and better performance on the road. On the other hand, the braking system of both SUVs is similar, but still Audi Q3 is takes a point high here and the Quattro all wheel drive system helps Q3 to move faster and swifter around the corners. Even the steering of BMW X1 provides a fine feedback and enables the driver to drive smoothly even in high speed and on bumpy terrains.
From a driver’s point of view, BMW X1 comes out to be a better car, as besides the interiors and exteriors, it is crucial for any car to performance first-class on the road and have a strappy engine. Therefore, if you wish to buy a luxurious SUV, then our suggestion would be BMW X1.
