Free Methods for Kindle users to read pdf easily

When viewed the news from Doremisoft – “How to Read Password Protected PDF on Kindle Fire“, I found that it didn’t decribe the two methods to add PDF files to a Kindle Fire carefully. Alought the article has resolved how to Unlock PDF File for Viewing on Kindle Fire.

Now I will describe them here in detailed.

Method 1Transfer PDF file to Kindle via USB

This is the easiest method and works for Windows, Mac and Linux:

1. Connect your Kindle to your computer via the included USB cable
2. Your Kindle should appear on your computer as a removal mass storage device (like a USB flash drive)–with the next available drive letter e.g. E: drive (if hard drive is C and DVD drive is D)
3. Within the Kindle drive you should see a set of folders–simply copy and paste (or drag and drop) your PDF file into the Kindle Documents folder
4. When finished, use your computer’s undock, eject, or unmount feature to safely remove your Kindle (in Windows, use the ‘safely remove hardware’ icon)
5. Your PDF file should now appear on your Kindle Home screen for you to open and view
If you can read this PDF file ok then you are finished!

However, if you find that the PDF file looks all wrong and is very hard to read then you will need to convert it into Kindle’s own file format to produce a better view.

First, delete this poorly formatted PDF file from your Home screen:
If you are not already on your Kindle Home screen, press the “Home” button.
Underline the PDF file you want to remove with the 5-way controller
Move the controller to the left and select “Remove from device”.

Method 2Send PDFs to your own Kindle Email
We have an Email address in the format of “name”@kindle.com which is connected with our devices. We could simply send the PDFs as attachment to this address and let Amazon convert PDF to Kindle format, and the converted files will be directly sent back to your Kindle device. But the service costs 15 cents per MB, so please remember to zip the files to save money. BTW, to help prevent spam, only addresses you have authorized on the “Manage Your Kindle” page may send files to your Kindle device.
And by sending the attachment to “name”@free.kindle.com, you could free convert PDFs into Kindle format. The converted files would be sent to your computer by this means and you need to sync them back to Kindle via USB cable manually.

Now you could feel free to read pdf files on kindle, and crack pdf password from password protected pdf files.
