Hands Free Texting Solution, That Just May Help You Arrive Alive

With all of the media hype regarding Texting While Driving, I came across this awesome piece of technology that is actually quite accurate. I know that some smart phones can perform some of the features to keep me safer on the road, but the accuracy and quality of the voice to text features are just plain lacking compared to this solution, which I later found out was developed 7 years ago. This clearly explains the level of quality of this product.

What drew me to this company was their innovative approach to the problem by coming up with a responisble, viable solution that can actually curb hand-held cell phone use for the masses. The media has missed the point all together by spending so much time on the problem and not enough time on the solution.

This is why I had to share something Positive and give kudos to a company that is way ahead of the curve. Here is a quote from the company that really made my choice very easy, “In an effort to curb the loss of life and property damage, many states have legislated stiff fines and even jail time in some cases! The solution, however, is NOT to turn cell phone users into outlaws, but to change the way we use our phones! It is now possible to dial your phone, check and reply to voicemail, check and reply to email, even send text messages without touching your phone – simply with the power of your voice”. This is the innovation that I was talking about. Yes, Hands Free Texting is the Law in 30 states, but they realize that just making it illegal is not going to solve the problem.

I’m not sure if there is a perfect solution to the Texting While Driving Epidemic, but this is the closest thing that I have found. Since people are not going to give up their freedom to communicate, we can at least provide a viable more responsible solution to actually touching your phone.

Citizens Against Distracted Driving (CADD) launched on August 27th, 2010
CADD pledges to take the battle to the street where distracted driving is claiming lives and destroying families. “With focus on education, prevention, victim advocacy, and most of all SOLUTIONS to this growing epidemic, we aim to stem the tide of destruction.”

“Safe driving can reduce the number of crashes, injuries and fatalities on our roads,” said SHA Administrator and the Governor’s Highway Safety Representative, Neil J. Pedersen. “Every one of us has a responsibility to drive safely and taking your eyes off of the road to text is a recipe for disaster.”
