Some Tips to Tell You How to Calibrate Smartphone Battery
Learn how to use, charge and discharge the smartphone battery properly for longer battery life. The biggest problem with Android devices seems to be their mediocre battery life.Android has been around for a while, and people expect a lot better, though in my experience, most smartphone users on any operating system tend to do more and more with their phone and could always do with longer battery life.

Modern smartphones come with Lithium Polymer and lithium battery.Every time the phone reaches 100 percent battery charge limit, the statistics get flushed.Dianne Hackborn,Android software engineer with Google busted that myth by clarifying that it has no impact on the current battery level shown or on the battery life. In order to save battery, one should ideally avoid keeping Bluetooth,GPS and WiFi modules on when they’re not being used.
No matter how hooked you are to your Android apps, there will certainly come a time where you will have no other choice but to stop. Not because you’ve had enough of Rovio’s Angry Birds Space but because your phone eventually ran out of power and it needs the time to recharge. But unlike any other devices,Android smartphones and tablets consume a lot of power.Lucky are you if you can make your device last for more than 8 hours.Well, that can be done but you have to make use of certain battery-saving measures. What we have here are two effective solutions that can help boost your Android device’s battery lifespan. The first option is quite easy to do but will require a rooted Android device. As for the second option, rooting isn’t required but it will take a bit of time.
Over a period of time we have seen on how you can taste your different Android phones with the custom ROMs,also in the articles of custom ROMs we have been talking about the calibration of battery which we will see on how exactly you can do the same and also in the due course of this article we will see on what exactly the calibration of battery means to you with its benefits. Here is how you can calibrate your smartphone battery chargers, and without spending any extra buck.By calibrating the device’s battery you will know exactly how much power is left,so you won’t find yourself in a situation where your phone switches off while you’re waiting for an important call.
Step one:
Let the battery drain till it dies completely.Once you install the custom ROM in your phone, you need to ensure that you have charged your phone for 3-4 days of time so that the battery gets aligned to the usage pattern of yours.Ensure that in these 3-4 days of time you are not charging till the battery becomes 15-20% so as to utilize the full charging cycles.
Step two:
Connect the device to the charger and let it charge till it is 100 percent full. Now,once the battery is charged full after 3-4 days, you then need to connect the phone to the computer with the help of USB cable and then connecting the USB cable to the computer, enter into the recovery mode.
Step three:
Unplug as soon as the battery indicator on the display shows or beeps when the device battery is fully charged. Now,to enter the recovery mode there are different key pattern which you need to follow for different phones as its different for different phones.Like, for entering into the recovery mode in your Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy S2 as well as in the Samsung Galaxy Ace you will have to first turn off your device, long press the volume up key, press Menu as holding both the buttons press the power button to start into the recovery mode.
Step four:
Switch off the smartphone.Take out the battery and put it back in to start using the device normally.Ideally, the above process needs to be followed for two to three days. After that you need to charge your battery regularly and only when the low battery indicator beeps. It is necessary to charge the device with the supplied charger.Using a different brand or duplicate charger damages the device’s battery in the long run.Always wait for the device to beep for low primary battery and then connect it to the appropriate power source for charging it completely.Leaving the phone charging overnight also disrupts the cells in the battery and reduces its life in the long run.
