This statement is very suitable for the organization of this generation too. Employee retention is very beneficial to any type of company. First advantage is, with the retained employee there is no trouble of moving routine activities of the office because knowledgebase approach is exercised in each and every process. Unexpected consequences in the company can be easily handled by the experienced employees. When an employee realize that it is permanent place to excel his performance he will automatically work hard for the development of organization. To utilize these advantages a company should retain the talented employees. Every worker prefer to work for long period of time, but there are few key factors which acts as a root causes for an employee to leave the organization.
Salary is the first factor in top of the list. If salary is very low to the work then the employees never stick with the firm and increments also plays very important role in employee retention. According to the experience and the position employee salary should be reasonably increased. His achievements and excellence should be recognized through appraisals and appreciation. Employee may not like to work in the organization where there is no healthy opportunities and growth. Challengeable and satisfactory tasks make them engage in their work persistently. Lack of trust and faith on the higher official or superiors make employees to immediately seek other places for the work.
Organization should always encourage the two way communication which creates room for the worker to share his view and ideas. So that he can realize his responsibilities and importance in the organization. A company should respect the employee contribution even though it is very small part of task. It must make the worker to feel their own growth with the development of company.
The healthy relationship of employee with the managers and supervisors increase their faith towards the company because managers are like bridge between the organization and the employees. Mangers should frequently produce feedback for the performance of worker. The value of the employee is approved through those feedbacks of higher officials.
