Inspect the condition of your electrical breaker box and the main fuse. The size of the main fuse must be in proportion with the amperage limit. If it exceeds the preset level then overheating may occur. Test the normality of the GFCI receptacles by pressing the ‘test’ and ‘preset’ buttons available on the body of the receptacle. Similarly, check the operation of other electrical components by comparing their present voltage with the prescribed voltage limit.
