We all love to hate Stansted airport, but you must admit, when it comes to cheap flights to great summer holiday destinations, Stansted stands second to none. For the price of a night on the town (or less), you can find yourself in a faraway paradise where the hotels are inexpensive and the beaches are packed with members of the opposite sex looking for new friends to dance the night away with, and to possibly start up a doomed-from-the start long-distance love affair.
There is no shortage of tantalizing sun-drenched destinations that will leave you with photos and memories to last you through the next dreadful winter and there are plenty of nightclubs in each of them that will be open all night, providing the beats your soul craves and your body longs for (if you haven’t noticed by now, this writer is ready for summer, too…). Tenerife, Ibiza, Malaga – take your pick – there’s hardly a bad choice as long as there’s an ocean nearby, some great DJs and a selection of good beer and whisky. If you don’t sleep all day, you might even want to engage in a bit of surfing, diving or a few rounds of golf.
