Solid Wood Bedroom Furniture With Storage Benefits

The sole celebrates louder as a man gets closer to his roots. It surely must have something to do with platform beds. There’s something about being on the ground when trying to get a good night’s sleep. One way or another, it gives a compact feeling of being secured by that cradling strength from beneath – not all that far when you’re lying on a platform bed.

Maybe it has something to do with stability and feeling less “afloat” as compared to being on a bed that is higher off the ground. We can all take a shot guessing why platform beds are such a favorite, but there’s only one thing for sure. It is a major favorite with three main reasons why.

Primary, platform beds come with no box springs and, instead, only rely on a support system finished of slats or solid panels. When you have metal frames that are situate on the ground, your bed is nearly surviving on just two to three metal supports for the most part. This should not be enough to carry a whole mattress and your weight, that’s why it needs a boxspring to provide additional strength. With a platform bed, the support is in-built. Without having to use a box spring, you are safe and comfortable on a bed that even feels barer, softer and greater against your back. That way, you get a fuller sleep at night and no back strains in the sunrise.

What you’ll also talk wildly about having this type of wood bedroom furniture is storage advantage. Beds that come with box springs and metal frames usually don’t give you this just because there isn’t enough space under them. With platform beds, you have all the room to use under your mattress with either built-in drawers or more open platform beds. Talk about functionality. After all, furniture wasn’t completed severely for the eye. They have to do their share of service as well.

The last and the most significant reason why you would almost certainly want a platform bed is cost. Imagine how much you save from not having to pay for a typical bed’s rail system, headboard and mattress, not to mention its infamous box spring which, alone, could cost you upto half a thousand dollars.

Why would you want to use up that much if you could get something in one piece with cost and ease savings? For a whole lot less, you simply get a whole lot more from platform beds.
