ID printing has never been easier
It is surely going to be a pain for those companies who wish to get it printed from a third party company every time a new employee joins. A much efficient way of printing these ID’s is by owning a printer that would help the company print the necessary ID’s then and when it is required instead of getting it printed elsewhere.
The most basic ID badge system followed in companies can be printed by a regular ID card printer system which comes with all the required hardware and software. The type of cards which can be used for these printers are Blank PVC cards. They come with a very sophisticated ribbon specially made for card printing. These printers are not very expensive and they help you print a complete professional like ID card at your own company.
There is another system called the Value ID card system which can print full colour ID cards. These can be used also to print membership cards, loyalty cards etc. These are a little more expensive as they print with much better clarity. And these cards can print complete colour ID cards, where as the basic regular ones cannot print complete colour ID cards. These printers come with a ribbon which is specially designed for very specific and detailed printing.
The most efficient system of all is the Dual sided ID card system which can print both sides simultaneously while consuming very limited amount of ink. The ribbons used in these are plated on both sides of the system so that the ID card to be printed can be printed on both sides. One need not specifically turn the card and reset it for printing on the other side. These are a little more expensive than the Value ID card system but it is very efficient and saves a lot of money on the ink and ribbon spent.
The use of ribbon ink these days is become outdated and a more technologically advanced system called the Pro ID card system which prints ID cards in no time, right after taking a photo of the person. These systems come with a CD slot in which one can insert a CD and design an ID instantly.
A more advanced version to the Pro ID card system is the High Definition ID card system, where the photo printed is of the best quality and it contains a very advanced printing system which gives you an ID of the best resolution possible. These systems also come with a CD tray, using which one can completely edit the way the ID should look, depending on the company needs.
