Carpets in India

The carpets in silk and cotton are more in demand than those of cotton and several other materials. In the earlier times, the motifs used in the Indian carpets were basically Persian. Later on the countries like China, Turkey, Morocco and others started introducing their own designs.
In India, especially in the mountainous regions of Kashmir, Darjeeling in West Bengal and Manipur carpets are made of pure wool and in glowing attractive colors.
It’s been more than 2500 years, since the carpets have been in use, with various designs such as flowers, rhomboids and various other animal designs, and have yet not become outdated.
KASHMIR CARPETS
The “crown” symbol of Kashmir is known for its carpet making. These carpets are made with 324 knots each per square inch. The carpet industry here belongs to the Persian origin. Fine quality carpets here are even produced in various Indian states like Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan etc.
From here the carpets are exported to various big importing countries like Germany, USA, Switzerland, Australia, Canada etc. Carpets of all types and all costs are available, depending upon the need of the buyers.
CARPET CLEANING:

- As soon as any drink gets spilled on your carpet or anything else which would stain it then at once clean that area as delay might make the stain permanent and spoil your carpet.
