A good number of people are generally fearful of all things associated with death. Good management and the ability to organise are important skills an undertaker should possess. A number of services will need to be organized by the undertaker and this will need good coordination and management skills from the undertaker.

Legalities and other formalities to be followed in the event of a death must be known to the undertaker who will have to receive required approvals etc for the funeral ceremonies and other related things. He must also be aware of the administrative procedures to be adhered to for procuring insurance claims, death certificates etc.

Lastly, an undertaker should ensure that his driver’s license is regularly updated and that he can drive the hearse or funeral limousines during the ceremony.
