Fast Lane expands training program: Introduction to 802.1X Operations for Cisco Security Professionals (802.1X)
Hamburg / Berlin, 28 February 2012 – The IT Training Specialist Fast Lane ( www.flane.ch ) has to be courses “Introduction to 802.1X Operations for Cisco Security Professionals” (802.1X) expanded. The training is aimed at Cisco Partner Sales Engineers and Field Engineers, the customers in the use of 802.1X solutions stand to the side. In addition, the course is suitable for security architects, design engineers and managers who wish to gain practical experience in the use of Cisco TrustSec 802.1X with Cisco ISE platform.
The new three-day training course provides students with the required know-how to configure Cisco TrustSec solutions based on Cisco Identity Services modules, Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco wireless LAN controllers. The goal is to introduce participants to the capabilities and features of the IEEE 802.1X protocol. They also learn to configure the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for 802.1X operation. In addition, later in the architecture, components and features of a Cisco network TrustSec discussed, with focus on IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS protocols.
Graduates also receive a practical introduction to the configuration of a network-based services for 802.1X in the use of ISE Cisco, Cisco Catalyst switches and Cisco wireless products.
