By knowing about the behavioral patterns of the pheasant, the hunter becomes much more in control of the hunt, making it a very stimulating experience. Hunters must be very attentive. They must not let any detail escape them. Pheasants are most commonly found near food and water supplies and deep ditches.

The pheasants tend to change their location depending on the weather conditions. So, a hunter must choose his hunting location according to the climatic conditions.
