Efforts should be made to strengthen technical transformation. At present hand mining is still adopted in most marble mines of China. The equipment is backward and even the blasting method is used unrealistically, thus causing the destruction of mines and waste of resources. We should support and promote mechanical mining of marble mines. Only by using advanced technology and equipment, can large, regularly shaped and qualified blocks be quarried and can resources be developed in a protective way.
In order to achieve sustainable development of the marble industry, it is necessary to pay attention to environmental protection.
