7. On Thanksgiving 2010 we got engaged, hoping to have a May wedding 2010. Long before the big day, I started to get planning and shopping. I wanted the whole event to go as smoothly as possible. During the week of Christmas I went into Soobest in Greenwood in the hope of picking out my dream wedding dress with Shane with me to help along the efforts. There were so many selections and each of them seemed fine and flattering. Just when I was all dazzled and confused, Shane found that simple and elegant one which not only flattered my figure so much but also brought something out of me that I’d never realized I have. They both picked the colors of their desire thanks to the possibility of shopping by specific color. They were lovely and amazing for the wedding. The most exciting moment was the one when the bride and the groom exchanged personalized wedding vows in front of the wedding guests. That moment was the testament to all those years’ supporting and standing by each other. The reception was an all-night-long dancing party with everybody dancing and laughing. All they could hear was people tapping on the dancing floor and chatting to one another. The bride offered her entertainment as she sang her favorite song with a microphone to the guests, which led to a wave of wows and applause. What followed was a drink of water from a water pitcher sitting on a nearby table! It was a night no one could forget. The entire night the reception room was flowing with laughter, joy and happiness and all of this was at half the cost most American couples spend!
