Using Internet Marketing With CPA ,TCPA and Contextual Publishing
Internet Marketing for the uninitiated or ‘newbie’ as they are known, can be a minefield of opportunities. They could become contextual publishers with Google Adsense or they could chose to do cost per action marketing. Now to confuse some people even more, we have targeted cost per action. TCPA is a combination of all three systems.
So much choice, so much hype and so may ways in which it is possible to earn a living as an internet marketer that people get overloaded with choice and end up with information overload.
Information overload is crippling. It paralysis’s people into inaction because they don’t know which way to go first. Often a contributing factor is simply deciding for themselves what it is they would prefer to do. Whatever they decide to do there is one certainty and that is that whichever system they chose needs to be one that they will enjoy; simply because it will become constant work that has to be done every day. As the advice too often goes, a newbie would be better off to pick something that they are passionate about.
The first method most internet marketers seem to find out about is contextual marketing with Google adsense. This is hardly surprising since Google dominates around 60% of the internet and because it was the first contextual marketing system invented. Since then, there are many other contextual publishing programmes but none to rival Google Adsense.
Much has been written about Adsense marketing so we won’t expound on it any further here except for a timely reminder of compliance with Googles Terms of Service (TOS) Should you fall foul of them, then you are out of their programme without so much as a ‘goodbye’
Then we have cost per action (CPA) marketing which can be extremely lucrative once you find the right offers in a good network. The offers vary greatly between products and industries and you will only get paid when someone performs a set action. My only dislike of CPA marketing is that some of the offers vary too often or aren’t permanent so you will need to record which ad you put where and go and change it as required. This can be a time consuming pain in the rear-end.
Now we have targeted cost per action which is a combination of contextual advertising based on cost per action. That is, the TCPA ads display with photos/pictures beside the ad, just like a contextual ad, but you as a publisher won’t get paid unless the person clicking on your ad on your website actually buys something. The other thing I like about TCPA ads is the number of choices a publisher gets in what is displayed on a website. If you don’t want photos or pictures, then you can choose to remove them.
TCPA ads come with all the ease of use of adsense ads but you the publisher chose what is shown on your web page. The other thing I like about TCPA is that if there are no ads available for your product, you get a secondary choice of what gets shown on your website.
So whether you are an ‘old hand’ at internet marketing using Adsense or CPA or a newbie still finding your way, watch the growth of these TCPA ads as they compliment more and more web sites across the web and around the world.
