It’s not been long since Android reached the mobile phone market, but by now we can say that is one of the operating systems most desired by many users. Growth has been spectacular and in very less time, The growth has gone from having only 3 Android phones in the market to having more than a dozen of them now. In contrast to enjoy an iPhone OS there are only a few models to choose from, and they are almost identical, except for some variations in hardware and software. In my opinion the advantage playing with Android is that, the wide variety of devices that have and will have this operating system, and as we all know, variety is the spice. Besides having a wide range of phones to choose prices are much more affordable that suits any user. As for the features offered by Android, we can only judge the software because the hardware depends on which we have in our hands, overcoming many models in some respects to the iPhone.
Usually Android offers a clear and simple interface for all its users, giving the possibility to each manufacturer to modify at will, l create interfaces much more attractive and much improved as is the case Sense interface on the HTC. And if we add to the brilliant idea to include various widgets on the desktop and the notification bar at the top, things that we do not have the iPhone, we can say that the usability of Android is much better than the iPhone.
As for applications are concerned, If we take a quick look at the App Store on one side and the Android Market on the other we see the vast difference that exists between both sets of sale applications. Android has a multitude of free and paid applications, it is unnecessary in many cases having to buy a paid application having got free and equal in quality, while in the case of the App Store , it is rare to see so many free applications .
