Get Captivated By the Hills of the Darjeeling

Nested between the Himalayas and smaller hills, Darjeeling is a paradise situated far from the heart of the country. The HMI (Himalayan Mountaineering Institute) also has a museum that preserves the history of the climbers. The stay is still incomplete without the visit to the sunrise point at tiger hill where the sun comes out of the far horizon painting the atmosphere with the red. The Batasia loop is also nearby where a war memorial is constructed. Here the train loops down a small hill to descend down its height by circling around the hill as it climbs down.
