Built in 1915, the white chapel with the wood-shingled steeple — legend has it that the bell was stolen before it was installed — overlooks the picture-perfect Snohomish River Valley and beyond.
The Lutherans put the chapel together using fir for the floors and wainscoting. Framed pictures from Sunday school lessons of the 1950s still hang in the kitchen.
