Movies are and will always be an integral part of many of our lives. There may be hardly any person who does not like to watch movies. There was a time when people used to watch movies in single theatres where the show timings were limited and fixed and where people had to stand in long queue for hours to buy tickets. People often have to travel to other theatres where the movie of their choice is screening or wait for the film to screen at the nearest theatre. The capacity of the theatre allowed it to screen only one film at a time.
Then all this changed with the preamble of multiplexes which provided more than 1 screen for the audiences. This made life easy for the audience to watch movies which they want in the nearest multiplex. As the multiplexes provide more than 1 screen the timing issue was also resolved to a greater extent. Considering the type of audiences who watch movies taking time out of their busy lives, the multiplexes have now started screening films even early morning, and late nights. Other than this, people often buy or rent CD/DVDs to watch movies on television or computer. Nowadays people are becoming more aware of the use of computer and internet. It has given birth to a new trend where they can watch movies online. There are numerous websites and portals wherein people can watch movies online and download them.
What are the requirements to watch movies online or download them? Few things needed like the monitor should be a good one, a computer should have good ram, higher hard drive space, a graphic card installed in the computer, a set of speakers/headphones and a high speed internet connection. There are lots of website where you can download movies for free. Free online movies come in different formats and it can be downloaded as per the availability of compatible software installed on the computer. There are different software like VLC player, DivX player etc. which are used for playing online movies. It is prudent to have some streaming video software like Real player etc. which give clear resolution of the free online movies.
