Surprise a loved one with a colored diamond ring
Colored diamonds – rather than clear, white diamonds – are extremely popular. Sourced from various regions on the planet, they often have reputations that are as strong as their clear, white counterparts. Australia’s Argyle mine, for example, set something of a benchmark with the beauty of its pink diamonds. Since the discovery of these wonderful gems that can range in hue from a light pastel to a raspberry pink, the popularity of pink diamonds increased globally. In much the same way, colored diamonds of many kinds have grown in popularity in various ways. For example, the methods of presenting diamonds within jewelry pieces may lead to an increase in their popularity.
Colored diamond rings don’t have to cost the earth. They may be less prized than other diamond pieces and rings, but they still may seem prohibitively expensive. This need not be the case if you research before you buy. Many colored diamonds may have inclusions or blemished – flaws both within and outside of the ring. While these can often be hidden under the bevels or claws that hold the diamond in the ring, they will make the piece less costly than a perfect diamond would be. However, thanks to the craftsmanship of the jeweller, it will sparkle as a perfect diamond would.
One of the great ways in which a gift with diamonds can show that you care more is through a person’s birthstone. A woman expecting a gift on her birthday may be more touched with a diamond piece than one containing her birthstone. It would be even more thoughtful, however, to take the color of the woman’s birthstone and to find a diamond ring of that color. For example, the topaz stone represents those born in November. A colored diamond known as “champagne” in color could easily represent this amber, yellowish, brownish stone – except the thought and value of the colored diamond is higher and so the gift shows the true worth of the recipient of the gift. While canary yellow diamonds can work just as well for topaz, Scorpio, and those born in November, champagne or brown diamonds may also be used for those whose birthstone is the chalcedony stone that is known as Carnelian. It is a gemstone that is common to Hebrew and Arabic cultures. It is used to stand for the Virgo and Leo star signs.
A colored diamonds can serve to represent whatever you want it to represent – but it says that the person who is receiving it that they are very special. As the most valuable of all kinds of jewelry and the hardest substance known to man, a colored diamond t conveys a sense of timelessness that other jewelry does not, just like a white diamond would. A colored diamondsperhaps conveys a more subtle, more nuanced, and perhaps deeper, level of love or commitment to a person than a white diamond.
