NBC’s ‘Chuck’: Chris Fedak talks potential ending to series

This weekend, we are finally going to get to hear some more details about “Chuck’s” final season courtesy of the NBC show’s Comic-Con panel — but even before that, we are at least learning a little bit more about how the show is planning to wrap things up.

Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Chris Fedak says that they have plotted out some sort of conclusion for Chuck — which has really been kept around thanks to its passionate fanbase:

“We have an ending in mind. I won’t give away if it’s a happy ending or not. It’s something that we’re building to. For the writers on the show, we have a unique opportunity to close out story and tell our final chapter. You don’t always get that opportunity on television so we’re excited to build out the most exciting, the most dramatic version of an ending for the show that we can possibly imagine.”

As for some other details about this season, expect a time jump of a few months between the finale and this October’s premiere — just so that there can be a new Castle as well as a name for their company in Carmichael Industries. As for all the characters you know and love (Jeffster!), they will all be back for a last hurrah.

Are you excited to see what happens here?
