Delhi University Students Union elections to be held on September. 9

The University of Delhi, announced the election schedule of the Delhi University Students Union. “Elections will be held September 9, however, the date of declaration of result was not announced.
Prof. Usha Rao of the Department of Botany has been appointed Chief Electoral Officer, Professor CS Dubey of the officer in charge of geology and head back to Professor DS Rawat in the chemistry department of the returning officer.
Deadline for submission of documents Nominations Committee is 29 August. Documents were checked after fifteen and a list will be published in seventeen.
Candidates can withdraw their name on August 30 and the final list will be published on September 1. This year, more time was given for exploration that candidates have time for one week to campaign.
Elections will be held Sept. 9.

The place, date and time of the proclamation of election results has not been decided yet.
The election last year has seen the BJP student wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) loosen Union Congress affiliated National Students of India (NSUI) eight-year hold on the students of the AU.
Warming of the fight, welcome to both ABVP and NSUI freshers in colleges where the university reopened. The two groups also stepped up efforts to make their presence felt on campus.
At the same time Jawaharal Nehru University is an increased intake of students in 4262 and 6665 with the introduction of 10 new academic programs.
In response to a question from Rajya Sabha, said Minister Kapil Sibal HRD, “In the period of tenth and eleventh plan, 10 new academic programs set up by the strength of students increased from 4262 to 6665.”
The research output has increased by 40 percent in the form of publications and patents and international cooperation has increased by 34-117, Mr. Sibal said.
At the same time, a student of Hindu College who has been accused of ragging juniors from the theater company has been suspended for two years.
He violated the student junior public auditorium during rehearsals. Young students had complained about him.
