Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nasik was founded in 1989, Maharashtra State Legislative Act No. XX. This is the first Mega Open University in India has awarded the prestigious Award for Excellence in Institution reached in 2002, “Commonwealth of Learning,” in Canada. YCMOU is the fifth Open University in the country, and has been recognized by the Commission of university grants, India. The university has also given permission to create study centers outside the state of Maharashtra. YCMOU is a member of the Association and Indian universities, and detects its distance from the Education Council in New Delhi. YCMOU is located in Nashik.
Eligibility criteria:
Each candidate seeking to enter the program of Bachelor of Education through distance education courses YCMOU is a graduate of any discipline, from a total of 50% means that you received from any recognized university. The candidate is also required to provide evidence of two years of professional teaching experience from any government or government-sponsored or recognized private schools.
