Sansin Dec: Springtime is for patios and decks. That’s where we BBQ, watch the kids play baseball in the backyard, and lounge on our patio furniture. Decks have to handle more traffic than any other wood around your house. That’s why Sansin Dec is designed as a rugged two-coat formula that penetrates deeply, protecting your deck from within. Where film-build coatings can easily peel and scratch, exposing wood to the elements, Dec provides lasting protection from rain and UV exposure. It’s available in 79 unique colors.
Sansin Classic: Nothing protects wood outside like Sansin Classic. Classic was originally engineered to protect log homes, with a three-coat penetrating formula that repels condensed water while allowing water vapor to escape. Not surprisingly, Classic works just as well on other exterior vertical surfaces, like shakes, shingles, siding and fences. Your wood will be protected with an ultra-violet (UV) and water-repellent shield of lasting and remarkable beauty. Classic is available in the full range of Sansin colors, and like all Sansin products is distinguished by ease of application and maintenance.
Sansin SDF: Sansin SDF, which stands for “siding, decks, fences” is a one-coat penetrating formula that repels condensed water while allowing water vapor to escape. SDF’s specially formulated oils and resins penetrate into the wood, providing outstanding weather and ultra-violet (UV) protection. Thanks to SDF’s unique water-borne technology, it can be applied to wood even with high moisture content – SDF lets wood “breathe”, preventing moisture from getting trapped inside the logs and causing decay.
Sansin ENS: Sansin ENS is designed for furniture and millwork. Chairs, tables, windows and doors are made of very dry wood; keeping them dry and protected while enhancing beauty, is exactly what ENS is designed to do. ENS is a two-coat film-forming finish that has exceptional elasticity for long-lasting protection against scraping and abrasion. ENS is ultra-UV resistant and will not darken with time. Because ENS is a film-forming finish, we do not recommend it for decks or logs.
Sansin Purity Interior Zero-VOC Stain: Purity Interior 0-VOC Stain is an environmentally-friendly penetrating stain designed to protect timbers, shelves, doors and more – in fact, any interior wood surface that calls for a long-lasting, durable finish and unparalleled beauty. Many interior coatings contain harsh solvents that release highly toxic fumes – known as VOCs, or Volatile Organic Compounds – into the air long after application. Purity Interior 0-VOC Stain uses only nature’s own solvent, water. Application is simple and trouble-free, with no unsightly splatter or brush-marks.
Sansin has also pioneered a whole new color system called ‘MicroFine’. Instead of using toxic dyes to achieve colour – as many competitive coatings do – Sansin uses pure pigments ground so fine they are able to combine with the protective oils and resins in our Purity 0-VOC Stain on a molecular level.
