IGNOU to undertake online virtual programmes in Chinese language

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) The School of Foreign Langauge (SOFL) Pact signed with two training institutes namely China, Shri Mahavira Jaina Institute of Chennai and Education Foundation Vidyalaya, Gujarat to carry out programs Online virtual China.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two institutions agreed to work with the IGNOU to offer six and twelve months respectively, certificates and diplomas online Chinese language and culture. These programs will be launched through the method of virtual classroom online and also face to face on two of these institutions under the supervision of SOFL, Ignou.

One of the main objectives of this program is to reach students all over India through Internet. With this method, a virtual classroom is created in which students can interact with teachers and vice versa.

“This is the first time in India that the online virtual classroom software to learn Chinese language IGNOU to offer. A key feature of this is to reach students in every part of India through the state. Gyankosh and IGNOU as E- an avenue to provide this virtual classroom program, which differs from IGNOU online programs. Through this space, students and teachers can communicate with each other and learn almost as happens within the four walls of the traditional teaching / learning, “said Professor G.
