Long Term Care and Aging Expert Shares Expertise With Georgia Tech Employees Wednesday, November 2, 2011

(1888PressRelease) Over the last few years, there has been a growing need for accurate, timely information on long term care (LTC). On Wednesday, November 2, 2011, the Executive Director of Caregiver Generation Don Grimes will be attending the 2012 Benefits Fair for Georgia Tech and sharing information on LTC with their employees.

“With the upcoming changes to our healthcare system, knowing what long term care will and won’t do, and how it interacts with traditional medical insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid is critical,” said Grimes. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to share what I know with Georgia Tech’s employees and help them to make the best decisions given their family and history.”

Having years of experience in the LTC field, he will share his insights as well as practical advice. Grimes will offer his expertise to the employees of the Georgia Tech, answer questions, and discuss specific situations and solutions. He will share information about what long-term care is, how it can be used to care for aging adults and things to know before signing up for LTC insurance.

As a national expert on long-term care and aging issues, Grimes has given more than 2,000 presentations to organizations about LTC issues. Major clients include Apple Computer, Toyota Motors, Penn State University and Columbia University as well as the CIA and the Pentagon. One of his greatest gifts is his ability to describe our complex healthcare world in a way that is easy to understand and that makes decision-making for individuals and families alike seem completely effortless. As a member of the American Society on Aging and the National Adult Day Services Association, Grimes’ life focus is on assisting people in aging gracefully.
