R Gospel Singer Michael Harris Cheats On His Wife
Chapel recording artist Michael J. Harris is accused of having a long-term sexual affair with a married woman.
Michael Harris began a Christian music ministry in the 7th Day Adventist Church after he fell asleep at the wheel of his car and caused a crash that left his wife Amber Harris paralyzed from the waist down. Amber remains confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
Since the accident, Michael and Amber Harris have toured the country together preaching redemption through their Christian concerts in which attendees are asked to donate money to support his music ministry as “love offerings.” In addition, he sells his book “Set Free” (published by Pacific Press) along with more than a dozen self-produced CDs after each concert featuring Harris singing Christian music.
Cheating Begins
However, it seems Harris’s conversion isn’t as miraculous and long-lasting as he claims. It’s been reported by Internet video blogger Kage Adams that Mr. Harris carried on a long-term affair with a married woman that spanned 2009 and 2010.
Further investigation revealed that Harris would accept concert bookings near his lover and engage in his adulterous affair in his hotel either before or after a performance. It’s also reported that he once made arrangements to spend a three day sexual interlude with his girlfriend in a Palm Springs California hotel in late 2009.
Video blogger Trudy Zeller gives a humorous YouTube monologue about Harris in her own unique style called Michael Harris Cheats On Wife to corroborate the reports and derides Christianity as “phony.”
On The Road
Harris continued to tourSeventh Day Adventist churches throughout the United States and internationally, singing praises to God and collecting donations while having illicit sexual encounters with at least one married woman. To date he has not denied the allegations, nor is there any indication whether his wife Amber is aware of his infidelity.
