Christian Truth: The Ultimate Truth of Life

There are some who may question why believe in Christian Truth or what benefit does truth of scripture bring to our lives. Knowing the truth brings a sense of joy and fulfillment in our lives. God showers upon his blessings on his believers and guides us into a life of happiness and oneness. According to John 14:6 Lord said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” What does he mean by ‘way’? The word ‘way’ simply implies a path or a moral code which we should follow to be happy in life. A true Christian must accept God’s path no matter how such position is viewed by others around them. This is both a test of character and absolute belief in the almighty.

Scriptural truths weren’t merely meant to be religious verses as many church doctrine and religious organization have made them to be. Many preachers have assumed the uncrowned King like titles and done harm to the religion and the believers. This is one of the main reasons that we find ourselves in the cross roads with a rebellion from within the society. It is sad to see that some preachers of the religion bonding followers rather than spreading the real Christian Truth among them. In many cases this leads to people suffering due to their lack of knowledge in truth and migrating to other cults because God’s word is not rightly told to them.

Lord Jesus Christ is the supreme and exclusive possessor of truth in fact he is the embodiment of truth itself. He is the source from which truth flows and a scale against which all the sins that we commit in life are measured against. As Proverbs 3:6 rightly puts it “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight”. God guides us in our acts and in times of need he shows us the path we ought to walk. He shields us against the impending dangers which await us in the wrong directions in life. This path is nothing but the path of truth which ultimately leads us to salvation.

Mathew 4:4 says ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ This signifies that the truth of Scripture is the driving fuel in our lives and more important than even the food we eat. Knowing the truth of God and what he says liberates us from sin and bondage in our lives.  It ends the suffering that we and others in the brotherhood face in our lives. We need to break ourselves from the chains of falsehood, lack of knowledge and proper understanding of God’s truth. Thus it can be rightly said that Christian Truth or the scriptural truths are the ultimately truths in our lives.
