Now have the children paint the pumpkins orange and the leaves green. Stick the stem into the top center of the pumpkin pushing it down as far as you may to secure it. Let it dry. This craft goes well with any Bible lesson in regards to harvest.

Apple Butterfly Pictures

Fall Trees

This is a fun fall Designer craft for preschoolers. You will need pre-pressed leaves that you fetch in from home. To press leaves, merely place each leaf amongst layers of wax paper. Iron the leaves to make them nice and flat. For this project, be sure to pick little leaves. In class you will need poster board paper, crayons, and glue sticks. Trace a child’s hand and forearm on poster board to create a tree. The forearm will be the tree trunk and fingers will be branches. Have the children glue on the leaves to the subdivisions (fingers). Let them color the trunk with crayons. If time allows, they may draw grass, a sun, and other features on their picture. Parents will get a kick out of seeing this craft. It makes a good choice when instructing with regards to Creation, harvest, or even Bacchius.
