SellAring, Revolutionary Audio Ad Network for Android Smartphones, Releases New SDK

Ra’anana – SellAring audio ad network for mobile phones announces today the release of a new SDK, enabling app developers with greater control of the ad functionalities selected during implementation. Integration procedure with Android applications has been further shortened; creating a start-to-finish 3 minute implementation process.  The SDK comes with enhanced targeting capabilities to produce higher CTR and new design options for SellAring’s Call-to-Action menu.  The added features are expected to attract a great number of app developers to SellAring innovative ad network for a chance to monetize their free Android apps.

“The current upgrade to the SDK was executed after a valuable period of communication with SellAring’s joined app developers.” explained Zohar Halachmi, Founder and CEO of SellAring.  “As a service provider, our main focus is to listen to what our publishers, the app developers, have to say and evolve our platform accordingly. Since SellAring brings a new and never-before-experienced technology to the market, the feedback provided by our customers is very highly important, as we continue to drive forward.”

The audio ad network launched its innovative platform last January, introducing a blue ocean strategy that creates un-tapped advertising real estate on mobile phones. Using cutting-edge patent-pending technology, SellAring replaces the call Ring Back Tone with ten-second audio ads. The Ring Back Tone is the tone network operators produce to indicate that the call is in connection mode.  The ring is active while a person waits before his or her call is answered. SellAring utilizes this unused duration of time to deliver a 10-second audio ad. The complimentary element is the cost per action screen; a customized menu delivered after the call, providing the user with options such as “call the advertiser”, “get info by SMS” and more.

The concept may be new but its continued interest in the growing mobile advertising market looks promising.  According to a Comscore report from January 2012, the number of U.S. smartphone subscribers surpassed the 100-million mark in January. Google Android ranked as the top smartphone platform with 48.6 percent market share (up 2.3 percentage points since October). It gets even better; a Borell Associates report predicts that mobile audio ad spending will reach $667 million by 2016. This number was drawn in August 2011, before SellAring’s patent-pending technology was introduced to the market.
