Chris Tomshack Fuses Business With Chiropractic Care
HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab was founded by Dr. Chris Tomshack. His background includes graduating with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Business Adminstration. Following his time at Ohio University, he then attended the University of Toledo where he pursued an MBA in addition to working as a teaching assistant in their marketing department.
Upon graduating from the University of Toledo, Dr. Tomshack then enrolled in the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Immediately following graduation he opened his chiropractic practice in Vermilion, Ohio. Start up for Dr. Tomshack’s practice was slow, but putting his eye for business to use, he implemented core business principles that helped launch his practice to the top.
With intense effort, planning and a commitment to unwavering standards Dr. Tomshack quickly found himself toppling the competition. He credits his success with his hard earned instinct for business and intent focus on the patient’s needs using progressive means for health and healing. Dr. Tomshack also acknowledges the part his late father, Michael Tomshack, played in making HealthSource so successful. Michael Tomshack was a lifelong salesman, entrepreneur and manager who shared his passion with his son.
Dr. Tomshack retired from actively practicing chiropractic care at the age of 37 and shifted to engineering multiple offices parenting three more practices into success. It was Dr. Tomshack’s goal to see that people were getting the care they needed within the most progressive and expert environment.
Many of Dr. Tomshack’s business principles and vision for HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab have come from his time studying a variety of industries. He was constantly gleaning the best of what he observed into more evolved ways of doing business himself. Every business had something to offer. His goal has always been to improve the way his offices function with the focus on providing the best care to each and every patient.
Realizing that he had a successful combination of progressive treatment standards and business systems that were unmatched in chiropractic care, Dr. Tomshack began the process of building a true franchise opportunity that would benefit other chiropractors and patients all across the nation.
In April of 2006, HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab was launched. Since that time it has become the fastest growing franchise business opportunity in chiropractic today, helping to build hundreds of successful offices all across the country each and every year.
